Patiently waiting for you to finish
Your Work
The book you are reading
The flowers you are planting
The dinner you are cooking.

Watching you and waiting
for a pet
a cuddle
a scratch
or just a gentle loving stroke of your hand.

Waiting with a satisfying rumbling purr.
And a gentle nudge of your hand.

What a beautiful kitty! She looks like the norwegian forest cat I grew up with, Anja. Love the poem as well (though most kitties aren't that patient!).
